Question 1

What happens when I guess wrong on the ride?

Accepted Answer

The ride busts and today's game ends there. You get one attempt a day, so there's no redeal: the result is locked in until the next deal at midnight.

Question 2

Is the deal the same for everyone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The cards are shuffled from the date, so everyone gets the same four qualifying cards and the same ride on the same local calendar day. A shorter ride is the first cards of the same row.

Question 3

Can I play again today?

Accepted Answer

No. Final Call is one session a day. If you leave partway through, you pick up where you left off; once it ends, the page shows your result and a countdown to the next deal.

Question 4

Is a tie higher or lower?

Accepted Answer

Either. If the next card has the same rank, the call counts as right whichever way you went.

Question 5

Are Aces high or low?

Accepted Answer

Always high. Nothing beats an Ace, and there's no wraparound from Ace to 2.

Question 6

Where are my streak and results saved?

Accepted Answer

In your browser's localStorage: your daily streak (a cleared ride extends it, a bust resets it), how many days you've played and cleared, and the shortest ride you've cleared. They never leave your device.

Question 7

Can I play with a keyboard?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Press the first letter of a choice: R or B, H or L, I or O, and H, D, C or S for the suits.
